The record should begin with the vehicle identity, source, date received, location, title or authority information and the evidence relevant to the operator’s process.
Treatment is a sequence
Quarantine, depollution, battery handling, dismantling and material recovery should be visible stages with assigned responsibility and time. A list of vehicles on site does not explain whether required work is complete.
Parts and materials retain a source
Reusable parts and recovered materials can be commercially valuable. Linking them back to the source vehicle improves traceability and allows management to understand the complete outcome beyond scrap weight.
